I recommend that people call or e-mail before coming by for a ride, just in case something has interfered with my schedule or ambition.  In addition, I am mostly a pleasant-weather cyclist.  I rarely ride if the wind-chill / heat index is outside the 60-100°F (18-38°C) range, if there are steady winds of 20 or gusts exceeding 25 m.p.h., or if the precipitation probability exceeds 40%.
