WHAT'S NEW?
- Website reorganization
(2011): A reorganization project is
underway to improve this website's efficiency.
The project should not affect your use of the
site under normal conditions. However, if you
have links to specific pages, you'll need to
redirect those links as "issues" and "tech" pages
are moved to specific folders.
- Website migration to
4thr.org (2010): As
a result of AT&T's closing of Worldnet's Personal
Web Page hosting service in March 2010, this site has migrated to a new domain,
www.4thr.org. Please
re-home any of your favorites, bookmarks, or links
for the old site at <tangents.home.att.net> to this
one at <www.4thr.org/tangents/>.
For the most part, internal links at the new
location are identical to those at the old one.
However, the old site's AT&T features have been either lost or
replaced by others that may work somewhat differently.
- Feedback access: Access to
interactive functions of this website now requires
manual entry of a pair of codewords, which are
displayed on your screen when access is requested.
Simply type the displayed codewords into the
appropriate boxes and click OK, then select the
desired feature from the menu. Your access
remains in effect for the remainder of your browser
session. This step screens out automated
nuisances that spam discussion areas and harvest
personal information. We think you'll agree
it's well worth the
minor inconvenience.
