A Humanist Benediction

 

Be healthy and happy, give love and take care.

Find courage when you need it, but may that be rare.

 

Between dare and challenge be wise to discern,

For else the distinction is costly to learn.

 

Celebrate diversity; injustice oppose.

Accept what is real, and falsehood expose.

 

Of life drink your fill, and to others be kind.

Give back what you take, and enjoy peace of mind.
